Debuko led Elizabeth and Ryomi inside the studio, to a room adjacent to where they filmed. Chiyami waited there, wearing a long, strappy, sleeveless black dress. Like Debuko, her black hair was up. She lounged on a cushion on the tatami mat, her legs crossed. The black straps and heels of her sandals protruded, as did her pedicured toes, which bore a clear lacquer. Before her was a low table with a sake cup set up on each side. Debuko and the Australian girls joined Chiyami on cushions.
In Japanese, Debuko went on. "We are most pleased with your service. Are you happy at the service you have provided us?"
